In May 2021, Amongst The Pigeons released their fourth album ‘Silence Will Be Assumed As Acceptance’.  The album featured 9 guest vocalists across the 12 tracks and received rave reviews for tackling big themes with a rebellious energy and honest spirit.

That album was followed up in August with ‘Break The Silence’, a remixed version of ‘Silence’ which was offered as a ‘pay what you can’ release.  All the money raised from this was donated to My Black Dog – the peer to peer mental health charity.

Now as Autumn approaches there is a change in the air – it is time for something new.

On 15 October Amongst The Pigeons is releasing a brand new single entitled ‘And Then We Dance Again’.

The track title is a nod to the return of Festivals and Live Music which has been sorely missing over the last 18 months.

The song itself moves away from featuring guest vocals and is a sub-3-minute blast of pure electronica and dance similar to artists such as Hannah Peel, Daniel Avery and Kelly Lee Owens – albeit with that unique and frantic Amongst The Pigeons sound.

The video for the song was filmed at Worthy Farm over the summer and features Amongst The Pigeons playing live in front of the famous Glastonbury Festival Pyramid Stage.

The single is released on all digital platforms and as a limited edition 7″ vinyl on 15 October via Peace & Feathers.

Fun Fact #1 – the track also features Daniels dog Obi, whose synth contribution is in the mix (see photos below).
Fun Fact #2 – pigeon bones weigh less than their feathers.
